The Clinical Nursing Aid (CNA) with Fitness course prepares students to become a CNA and begin their career path in Long Term Care or an Assisted Living facility. This course is designed to provide students with the complete healthcare knowledge base necessary to work in an entry level position in a facility. The course includes topics not only related to working as a nurse's aid, but emphasize's senior fitness. Students do not receive certification simply by taking this course: they must sit for their state’s certification exam. Each student must also complete the clinical hour requirements for his/her particular state, as well as obtain a criminal background check, CPR certification, TB testing, and other screenings as required by his/her state. This program is not approved at the state level and students should check their home states requirements prior to enrolling.
This class supported by an Educational Mentor. Educational mentors have worked or are working in the subject they mentor. Educational Mentors review student work, student progress, and interact with students as needed. They respond to any questions or concerns you might have, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.
